My friend and i were talking today about how little people in our city and community know about Ripstik and streetsurfing in general. A lot of times when i mention it people seem to think its stupid or not fun, but i think they are really just intimidated by the two wheels. However, as anyone who has ridden a ripstik know its not at all hard to learn how to ride and its amazingly fun once your get the hang of it (in me and my friends case less than an hour) and we want to start a buisness introducing kids in our area to ripstik, and showing them the ropes and getting them started. We love Ripstiking so much we just want people around us to enjoy it as much as we do.
What does this mean for razor? Well we would like to know if razor would be interested in sponsoring us (sending us boards/safety equipement and things of that nature) and us in return introduce ripstik to literally HUNDREDS of kids at our school alone, not to mention if we could broaden the horizon into more people (adults) in our area.
My friend and i think this is an amazing idea and want to proceed immediately and will proceed with/without the support of razor. However, if there is anyway by sending in videos of us teaching people to ride and/or showing videos of ourselves riding could Razor be interested in sponsoring us do take on this venture? If so just, PLEASE hit up my e-mail at nickford@bellsouth.net and lets get this rolling!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this post,
your customer,
Nick Ford
